Jasper
Jasper also came from Count Your Blessings Farm (CYB) in Ontario. He arrived at Elite as an unbroke one-year-old. From the moment he stepped off the trailer, Jasper has been a perfect gentlemen. Before he was broke to ride Brittney was using him in lessons to teach lunging and even worked with students to teach them how to back a horse. Jasper was backed at 3 and left to hangout and develop for most of the year and entered the lesson program full swing this year when he turned 4. Being the farms youngest horse you wouldn’t expect him to be so laid back and gentle.
Jasper is a 4 y/o 14.1 hand Fjord cross gelding.
Fun and not so fun facts
Jasper just recently dropped a testicle.. what does this mean? It means he’s cryptorchid and most likely has a surgery in his near future to finish “gelding” him!
Jasper is super duper CURLY!
Jasper was born into a herd of 100 that was specifically bred to be exported to Japan for meat.
