Taco is also from CYB (can you see a theme starting to develop here?). Taco came to the farm in May of 2023. He was what you’d call a shell of a horse. He wouldn’t accept any treats, was very weirded out by any shows of affection and was hard to catch.

It took Taco about 4 months before he would accept any type of treat and almost 8 months before he started to enjoy and even seek out attention from his humans.

Taco was an interesting horse to figure out. He’s trained, knows his cues but lacks a lot of confidence and that lack of confidence came out with bucks in the arena. Brittney gave Taco time to decompress, be a horse and most importantly gave him space to let him know it was ok to make mistakes. With her kind and patient energy she started to figure him out. He really, REALLY enjoys trail rides and jumping! He’s not without his quirks but is loved by many riders and going in the school.

Taco was a 15 y/o grade gelding and passed fall of 2024.
