Walter
Walter came to the farm 4 years ago. Brittney was looking for her next competitive mount, so she packed up the trailer and headed down to Moncton to see a horse that was advertised.
He was nothing like what she was expecting. Full of anger, and energy… not a great combo, and about a hand shorter than expected. While working with him Walter busted through doors, pushed through people and even fell down on the lunge line. He was mean, angry and full of a wild energy… but something in Brittney connected with him and she brought him home.
His journey has had its ups and downs, figuring out his personality and how to work with him wasn’t easy, but she never gave up on him and through help and advice from other professionals Walter started to transform. He’s still full of that wild energy but has softened and is even used in the school now!
Walter is roughly 10 years old and is 14.2” hands. We think he’s a Morgan cross, maybe with some Fjord in there!
